2007 ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF JBBS
- Submitted Maryland 2007 Personal Property Return, February 22, 2007 for 2006
- Submitted Form 1023 to the IRS: "Application for Recognition of Exemption
for
501(c)(3) Organization" February 2007
- Started Website March 2007
- Received determination that the Junius B. Booth Society was exempt from
Federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
in August 2007.
- Submitted "Combined Registration Application" to the State of Maryland to
for approval to solicit the public for contributions and Maryland sales and use tax
exemption on August 16, 2007.
- Resubmitted "Application for Maryland Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certificate" because
it was required to have two member's signatures.
- Provided manuscript on the Booths for Tour Guides at Tudor Hall
- Received "Maryland Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certificate." Unfortunately the
name "Booth" was misspelled "Both."
- To correct misspelling submitted "Notice to Non-profits Organizations Maryland Sales
and Use Tax Exemption Certificate" on December 18, 2007.
- Studied archeological survey methodology
